Stock Valuation Analysis Report

This article talks about the Stock Valuation Analysis Report of Connected Business.

The Stock Valuation Analysis Report shows the difference between the total value of the inventory stocks and the total value of the journal entries (FS). You can access the Stock Valuation Analysis report from the Report Center menu of any modules in Connected Business. Click the Report Center menu to load the Report Center window. In the Report Explorer panel, click Reports > System Reports > Inventory > Stock Analysis > Stock Valuation Analysis.

This report can be compared with the Stock Valuation form, which can be accessed from the Accounting module > Revaluation > Stocks, where you can check all incoming transactions in the warehouse as well as the stock quantity.

You can also view this report from the Retrospective Analysis form. Go to Accounting module > Retrospective Analysis. In the form, select Stock Valuation Analysis from the Report Analysis dropdown list.

The Retrospective Analysis form is only available in Connected Business v14. Refer to The Retrospective Analysis Form for more details.

If you want to see all the journal entries made with your inventory accounts in the form, including the invoices that affect your inventory total, tick the Detailed checkbox.
